PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

Trainees would enhance their skills and would gain experience under the supervision of senior officers. The training routes of merchant navy enable upgradation from junior level officer to more senior levels.

Second engineer certificate or the award of the chiefmate is the next recognised MCA level of competency.

Master’s or chief engineer certificate is the highest level of competency.

Up gradation to each rank also allows you to gain nationally recognized academic or vocational qualifications in addition to MCA certificate of competency.
